“May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭

Amen, Lord. We pray for strength and we pray for peace. Lord God, in these days of uncertainty and rapid change, we pray that we will not be so easily moved or swayed by the worries, the anxieties of this life. There is the shaking that You Yourself have permitted to expose all the temporary things of this world. But You, Lord, have given Your people a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. This heavenly Kingdom that the King of Righteousness reigns over. We are citizens of a heavenly and eternal Kingdom ruled by the Prince of Peace. So Lord God, we want to thank You for blessing us with the peace that passes understanding whenever we pray and bring our requests to You. Tonight, we want to remember before You M and his family. We pray for strength for M to not trust his own will power or determination, but to wholly trust in Your life and how You poured Your love into His heart. We pray for M to love his wife with the Love You love Him with, this Love that is patient and selfless, willing to lay down his own life kind of Love. And not only have You reconciled us to Yourself, You’ve also given us this ministry of reconciliation. So Lord, minister reconciliation and healing through M to his wife and children. We believe that You are able and that salvation has come to his entire household for Your own glory and good pleasure. How merciful You are. You remember Your own. As You call people to Yourself, we rejoice and ask that You would make us faithful servant to care for them as You draw them. Be the good shepherd in us all. Until You return.
